Too poetic: Ode to the man on the tricycle

Three wheels, two legs,
the man on the tricycle presses ahead.
Wrestling with the weight
of a cart full of wood,
surely you’d take the bus if you could.
The fraying rope, the crying chain,
inertia is against you; traffic’s the same.

but the look on your face tells me
